Little Bites: Openings

Ember & Vine Woodfire Oven and Social Bar, a new restaurant in the DoubleTree by Hilton Pittsburgh-Cranberry has opened under the direction of executive chef Sam Castrale. A graduate of the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu, Mr. Castrale started out as a sauté cook more than 15 years ago, and his career has taken him from New York to Seattle and Austin, Texas, before recently settling in Pittsburgh. The restaurant is open for hotel guests and local patrons for breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers a late night menu until 1 a.m.
